Clemson Eye is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Tom MacMillan and his dedicated team from the Family Eye Care Center, who have officially joined Clemson Eye this month. Earlier this year, a fire caused significant damage to Dr. MacMillan’s office in Clinton, SC. However, this new collaboration ensures that he can continue his 30-year legacy of delivering outstanding patient care while expanding his capacity to serve the Clinton community.

Dr. MacMillan has been a trusted and valued supporter of Clemson Eye for many years, and his team’s transition into our practice is a natural next step as we work to strengthen our commitment to the people of Clinton. We are excited to welcome Dr. MacMillan, his team, and their patients into the Clemson Eye family!

“I am truly excited to join the Clemson Eye team and continue providing the high level of care that my patients have come to expect,” said Dr. Tom MacMillan. “Clemson Eye shares my dedication to patient-centered care, and this partnership allows us to expand our services, improve access to care, and bring even more resources to the Clinton community. I’m looking forward to working alongside such a skilled and compassionate group of professionals.” – Tom MacMillian, OD

Dr. MacMillan obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Chemistry at Huntingdon College in Montgomery, Alabama. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Optometry at the University of Alabama School of Optometry in Birmingham, Alabama.

Dr. MacMillan will be seeing patients at our Clinton location located at 22995 U.S. 76 Clinton, SC 29325.

“This is an exciting time for our practice and for the Clinton community,” said Dr. S. Jacob Montgomery Jr. “Dr. MacMillan and his team bring not only years of expertise but also a shared vision for the future of eye care. Together, we will continue to grow, innovate, and provide top-tier service for our patients. We are thrilled to see what the future holds for us as we work to expand our services and improve accessibility for everyone in the region” said Dr. H. Keith Riddle Jr.
