Cataract Surgery – A safe and effective procedure to remove the cloudy lens in your eye and replace it with a clear intraocular lens (IOL). The surgery is usually performed on an outpatient basis and takes about 15 minutes per eye. Most people experience good vision within a few days or weeks of surgery.
LASIK – LASIK (laser-assisted in situ keratomileusis) is a type of refractive surgery that uses a laser to reshape the cornea, the clear front part of the eye. LASIK can correct vision problems such as nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism. The LASIK procedure is performed in two steps. First, a flap is created in the cornea.
