Rebecca Epstein, MD is a Glaucoma Specialist that comes to Clemson Eye from Rocky Mountain Regional Veterans Affairs Medical Center where she served as the Chief of Ophthalmology. She was also an Assistant Professor in the Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. Dr. Epstein completed her Bachelor of Science in Microbiology at the University of Georgia. She then went on to earn her Doctor of Medicine at Mercer University School of Medicine. Dr. Epstein completed both her transitional year internship and residency in ophthalmology at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, TN. She completed her fellowship as a Glaucoma Specialist at the University of Colorado School of Medicine in Aurora, CO while also acting as a Clinical Instructor.
In her free time, Dr. Epstein enjoys spending time with her family and her two English bulldogs. She also is an avid sports fan and follows college football as well as NBA basketball.
